Hello everyone, I'm a newbie in the forum. I'm currently working for an MNC as an L1. I have done my CCNA certification, and having a tough time finding a job. So, is there anything i can do, any certification that can complement CCNA or should i go ahead with CCNP. I would really appreciate your suggestions.

Cisco 1721 WAN interface card

As shown in the picture, I'm using the one 1721 with serial connections to link the other 2 network and then using the top router to connect to the backbone MDF switch. However I've run into a hurdle that the 1721 I have only have a T1…

640-554 Failure
Today, after three weeks of on and off studies, I failed my CCNA Security 640-554. I can see two reasons to why I did fail the test. 1. Beeing that I never even opened the CCP program and the first three questions were about CCP and the only two sims were done in CCP. 2. Beeing that I had too much work so I couldn't study…

Seem I have a routing issue.... Anyone really good with Sonicwalls?
Hey guys, So I seem to have a routing issue. To me the routing on the core MDF which is a HP Procurve 2910al-48G-PoE+ seems to be correct since the switch can ping and access to the Sonicwall (which is the default gateway) - also the primary network connects to this forum over the sonicwall so it's working. Basically like…

L3 switches and Inter-vlan routers
Hey guys, What are some reasonable prices L3 switches and some good inter-vlans and edge routers? I'd like to acquire a few more for my lab. I'm sure my current lab is sufficient for CCNA but I'd like to grow the lab... Any suggestions.

Well it took me 4 months but I finally got my CCNA. Passed ICND2 this morning with a score of 986/1000. I need to now come up to speed on Juniper and will look at either CCNA SP or SP Ops.

ACL placement
So, standard ACL's go closest to the destination, and extended ACL's are supposed to be as close to the filtered addresses as possible, what is the reasoning behind this?
